Shipping & Delivery Policy

All Factory Direct Roofing products are custom-made to order and shipped directly to your site.

Lead Times

As all products are manufactured to order, lead times will vary depending on product type, order size, and current production schedules.

  • Typical lead times are provided at checkout or upon quoting
  • Lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed

If you require materials by a specific date, please contact us prior to ordering.

Delivery Method

Orders are delivered via third-party freight carriers or directly from the manufacturer.

  • Delivery is typically to site or kerbside only
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access for delivery vehicles
  • Unloading assistance or equipment (e.g. forklift) may be required for large orders

Delivery Responsibility

Once goods are dispatched, risk transfers to the customer.

Factory Direct Roofing is not liable for:

  • Delivery delays caused by freight carriers
  • Site access issues or failed delivery attempts
  • Damage occurring after delivery

Inspection on Delivery

Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

  • Check for damage, missing items, and correct quantities
  • Any issues must be noted on the delivery docket at the time of delivery

All damage or shortage claims must be reported within 1 day of delivery.

Photographic evidence is required for all claims.

Do not install damaged goods, as installed products are deemed accepted and fit for purpose.

Failed Deliveries & Redelivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues or no one being available to receive the goods:

  • Additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply
  • Storage fees may apply if goods need to be held

Collection Orders

If you choose to collect your order:

  • You are responsible for safe transport of goods
  • Factory Direct Roofing is not liable for damage after collection

Shipping Areas

We service Queensland and selected areas across Australia.

If your location is outside our standard delivery zones, please contact us for a custom quote.

Delays Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather events
  • Manufacturing delays
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Transport or logistics issues
