Roof Screws for Insulated Panels — Steel & Timber Fixings

Main roof screws for fixing insulated roof panels into steel or timber beams. Suitable for patios, pergolas, carports and insulated roofing systems.

These roof screws are the primary fasteners used to secure insulated panels to the supporting structure. Choose Tek 14 screws for steel beams or T17 screws for timber beams to ensure correct fixing performance.

How many screws do I need?

Use the guide below to quickly estimate screw quantities per metre of roof width.

• Trim profiles: 4 fixing points (crests) per metre
• Orb / Corro profiles: 7 fixing points (crests) per metre

Structure type matters:

• Flyover / Freestanding roofs: Fix into two beams → double the quantity
• Attached roofs: Fix into one beam only → single quantity (house side uses tek screws into receiver channel)

Example:

• 3m wide roof with Trim profile (4 crests/m) = 12 screws per beam
• Flyover roof = 24 screws total per sheet run

Wind rating requirements: Additional fixings may be required depending on wind category.

• N1–N4: 1 screw with neo washer & cyclone plate per crest
• C1–C2, N5:
  • 1 screw per crest
  • + 1 screw with embossed washer per pan
• C3–C4:

DeltaOrb™ & DeltaCorroCorro™

• N1–N4, C1: 1 screw at every second crest
• C2–C4, N5:
  • 1 screw per crest
  • + 1 screw with embossed washer per pan
